The website “19th century military history in the Basque Country” offers a simple, user-friendly and visual overview of the violent events of the First Carlist War, describing both the main encounters and battles and the military corps that took part in them, and charting the life stories of the main figures of the era through texts, explanatory maps and etchings.
This project aims to satisfy the demands of a sector especially interested in the strictly military aspects of the Carlist Wars, in response to the results of the satisfaction survey carried out among visitors to the Museum.
